Hi, I'm Kanika, the founder of DrapesAndDrama. At 39, after spending years in the corporate world with a leading MNC, I decided to follow my heart and create something deeply personal - a saree label that blends tradition with everyday elegance.
As a proud mother and wife, I understand the beauty of balance - and that's what inspired me to design handloom sarees that are soft, breathable, and effortlessly stylish. DrapesAndDrama is my tribute to Indian craftsmanship and the modern woman - strong, graceful, and always evolving. Each piece is lovingly curated in fabrics like Chanderi, Mul cotton, and Linen, bringing heritage to your wardrobe in a way that feels fresh, comfortable, and uniquely you.

At DrapesAndDrama By Kanika, every saree carries the warmth of human hands, tradition, and craftsmanship. We are a small home-grown brand based out of Ghaziabad, working closely with talented local artisans from different parts of India who keep the beauty of handloom alive.
As our sarees are handcrafted and not factory-made, slight irregularities in weaving, texture, colour, prints, zari, or embroidery may occur. These are not defects, but natural characteristics of authentic handloom and handmade products. In fact, these tiny imperfections are what make every saree unique and special.
We are not a large fashion house or professional designer label — just a passionate small business built with love, learning, and dedication towards Indian textiles and timeless sarees.
